The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is a major space research centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), focusing on rocket and space vehicles for India's satellite programme. It is located in Thiruvananthapuram, in the Indian state of Kerala. The centre had its beginnings as the Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS) in 1962. Qualification :

  • Fireman-A (Post Code: 1501) SSLC/SSC Pass. Should satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness & Physical Efficiency Test standards 2. Cook (Post Code: 1502) SSLC/SSC Pass. Five-year experience in a similar capacity (as Cook) in a well established Hotel/Canteen 

Age Limit :

  • Fireman-A, Cook: Minimum age is 18 years for all posts.Relaxation ( in Upper age limit ) Fireman-A:- OBC: 28 years SC: 30 years EWS: 25 years Cook:- OBC: 38 years Application Fee Initially, all applicants have to uniformly pay Rs.500 as an

  • Female / Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Ex-servicemen [EX-SM] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates will be refunded the full fee subject to the condition that the candidates should appear in the written test. For other candidates, an amount of Rs.400 will be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing written test
